These pages are the result of email from people who lived in Churchill. It seemed that their memories, stories, and photos should be shared and they have agreed. Some have chosen to list their name and email while others preferred to remain anonymous. Either way, they have made a contribution that is important and I'm sure those who explore these pages will agree.

If you lived in Churchill during the 1950s or 1960s (or even earlier) and have stories and/or photos that you would like to share, please email sphutchens@yahoo.com. Although I must reserve the right of editorial oversight, there is no cost for including your contribution. You can list your name or remain anonymous as you prefer. When you write, please use "Churchill History" on the Subject line.

Contact people to share memories of Churchill

Since initiating this Churchill Reminiscence page I've had several emails from people who indicated that they would like to contact others who lived in Churchill when they did. I've also been in correspondence with an aircraft historian who would like to contact people with first hand knowledge of the crash of "Miss Piggy." In an effort to accomplish these requests and simultaneously maintain email privacy, please use the following procedure if you see someone you would like to contact:

  1. Send me an email with "Contact (name of person)" in the subject line. In many email systems you can simply click on the link by the contact. In other systems you may need to copy the information to your email system.
  2. In the email tell me who you would like to contact and the years you lived in Churchill.
  3. I will forward your email to the individual you indicate.
  4. Your response will come directly from the person you indicate and correspondence from that point can continue privately between the two of you directly.
  1. Contact "Miss Piggy" Historian sphutchens@yahoo.com.
