This photo was taken on the road to Twin Lakes on our last afternoon in Churchill. When the sun came out the landscape came to life. The white fluffy clouds in a pale blue sky accentuate the white snow and dark green forest in the distance. The shallow blue water, soon to be frozen for winter, flows through the meadow. Shadows of late afternoon reflect the low angle of the sun at this time of year and forecast shorter days yet to come.
